Started our tour of Britain here (after leaving London) and we were very pleased with this small guest house- it is lovely. A good, clean room. Fine breakfast and in a good location- just a few minutes walk into town. Had a very good time seeing the sights more

We turned up at the door without booking and we must have fell lucky because they had a room for us. The lady we dealt with was very friendly and accomodating, she showed us where to park, which cost us nothing, and then lead us to our room, which was clean, fresh and tidy. The house is situated within 5 mins.walk of the town centre and even nearer to Shakespeares burial place. For those who like a cheaper than usual drink there is a Royal British Legion club just a few streets away, where you will be welcomed and signed in for your visit. The breakfast in the morning was ample for our needs and they catered for myself (a veggie) with no problem. We would definately stay there again.
