Just stayed here and never again. Lovely quaint country pub, friendly staff but room not as described on website. We had the room with the lounge over the kitchen big mistake, the noise from the fan was very loud and all you could smell was stale greasy food. Evening meal was ok but menu not very good. Breakfast was disgusting... More

So dissapointed having read your review. You requested the room above the Kitchen, it is a really nice room, but we do warn people about fan noise in service time (until 9pm) On showing you this room we again said about the fan noise and you said it was fine. We are pleased that you loved the location and the... More

We came and stayed for 3 days in a warm and friendly atmosphere.nothing was too much trouble for us. The breakfast and evening meals were outstanding...on our last night the meal was by far the best thing i have ever eaten whilst eating out. Marilyn and the staff are so friendly. So much so that we have booked to come... More

Went to the college arms for lunch during the week. Long story short the 4 mains we had tasted like ready meals, so not good quality or value. The brie starter was brought out still frozen, when the manager was informed she took it away and brought it back well overdone. Didn't get a single apology. Definitely won't be going... More

Last weekend was our third time - a 16th century pub steeped in history and charm. Our dog, Oscar, particularly loves it here and is made very welcome. Every time we have been there has been a different evening menu - this time was the best food yet. Breakfast is excellent. The location of the College Arms is perfect for... More

Great place to go for a weekend with friends for good food and drink with a good nights sleep. Staff were really friendly and helpful, made us all feel really welcome. Open fires make it really cosy, with comfy couches well placed around the bar and restaurant. Room was beautiful four poster with a large bathroom.

Group of 7 dropped in unannounced and were greeted with a warm welcome and served with lovely food from a varied menu. Lovely open fire made it a truly warm welcome Rounded off a great day at Cheltenham Races

We stayed in the same village as the pub and had dinner there several nights because the food was so good! They also accomodated us for breakfast on the day we were leaving, which was also lovely. They were very friendly, even though we had three children with us and the kids also loved the food. Didn't stay there but... More

We stayed at the College Arms for two nights. As a gay couple it was really nice to recieve a genuinely warm, accepting welcome. We would say that it is a" village pub with rooms" and all the better for that. If you go bearing that in mind I am sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we... More

Having recently moved to the village, it took us a while to get round to eating at the College Arms. Well, we were not disappointed. Such a pretty quirky old building. Friendly staff. Lovely food. We had the specials and the beef cheek with red cabbage was to die for. Will be back soon.
