What a lovely weekend we had. We wanted to treat our children with a trip to warwick castle so we chose the Lord Leycester Hotel because it was very close and a name we had already heard of. We was not expecting an experience from the hotel as it was just some where to stay while we explored warwick and... more

I`ve been staying now on and off at the Lord Leycester for the past seven years. I would not consider going to any other Hotel in warwick. My job takes me all over the world, and I am very familiar with living out of a suitcase. For what the Lord Leycester lacks in modern furniture and fittings, THE STAFF more... more

Excellent Hotel with better service, I stayed at the Lord Leycester for a long weekend and the staff made our stay, the service was really excellent. Great food also, well presented not forgetting good value for money. The bar was always staffed and had a wide selection of beers, wines and soft drinks which was great for my patenter who... more

Hotel communal areas tatty and tired Sash window in our room wouldn't open or close without calling maintenance. Too noisy to leave open at night, but needed fresh air during the day. First night shower just went on and off when it felt like it. However that was a bonus because we never saw hot water again. Cold showers for... more

It was advertised as: 3 star - ideal for business travellers. Honestly, I'd have been happier staying at a family B&B, only that this was booked through work (who have been warned and taken this hotel off their list). I knew it was a listed building and expected oldie worldy decor and set up, but on arrival, (8PM ish) I... more

Booking the 'Executive Room' for two nights I thought that we would have something a little special. What we had was a shabby , grubby room which had certainly seen better days and certainly not a recent clean! The staff were friendly and the following day cleaned the room and even replaced a cracked basin. I returned to find a... more

Great location and easy to find. Hotel was like a rabbit warren - I'm guessing it wasnt origenally built as a hotel. A welcome change from identikit hotel rooms. Only negative was the breakfast - avoid the sausages at all costs - I've never seen so much gristle before! more

A superb location, at the hub of Warwick and within walking distance of everywhere. Nice, historic building, and - after checking in and being instructed to follow a warren of narrow passages - arrived at a comfortable, clean family room (separate children's quarters), with a tidy bathroom, and instant hot water (contrary to the apologetic blurb in the hotel pamphlet).... more
