Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My Wife and I booked the Globe on the recommendation of our Daughter telling us it was a "no brainer". We booked a hotel room for the night costing £120 and they put £120 on a tab that one can eat, drink etc.....hence you stay for FREE ! We had 2 starters,2 main course meals,2 bottles of wine and 4 latte.....ALL SUPERB. Toiletries are in the room, the Hotel have us a Wine bucket and glasses as we took our own wine, WI-FI is fantastic. Iron and board. Hair dryer.Brilliant TV. Only thing I would say some areas could do with a paint but it certainly didn't bother us. All staff are superb and so helpful, I hope I have got this correct a lady I think called Lucy, she was fantastic. For £120 it's very good ! Just one point don't bother with £8 24 hour parking as in Warwick you can park over night free, the staff (female) in the Globe will tell you where to park,it's 2 minutes walk from Hotel. Warwick shops etc, loads of pubs, and similar to a lot of towns after COVID not a lot but a very pleasant walk round as independent traders unlike most towns. We would return Simply Google it for offers. If you have any questions contact me.

I was given a room that is in complete disrepair and was stinking from a drain in the toilet. I couldn't be bothered to complin in the night as I was tired and there for one night. Not sure whether they had other rooms, but it help like I was given the worst room because I was asian. Come down for breakfast in the morning and the white girl ignored me and continued taking to someone else. Felt like asian people are not welcome.

On 28/12/2023 my daughters boyfriend arrived with his children and we booked the Globe for a meal at 2:00pm. The terrible service was only surpassed by the atrocious food. The children’s starters arrived and more than 20 minutes later the adult starters arrived. We waited an age for the main courses which took well over an hour and a half to arrive and even then some of the order was missing. As a result of the appalling service, the children missed their slot for ice skating at the castle. My wife and I ordered fish and chips which was the worst meal I have ever eaten out, and I include fast food in that assessment. I searched the restaurant 4 times for any member of staff to enquire about our order, but there was nobody to be seen anywhere, the only server kept disappearing for long periods of time. Whilst searching for a member of staff, I noticed 2 plates of fish and chips on the counter which remained there for a long period of time before disgracefully being served to us. Rock hard batter with very very dry inedible fish within. When sending a complaint email a few weeks later, the management apologised and said if I ever go again they are sure it would be better. Very good of them. I think I will pass and would suggest there are much better options available in Warwick.

Oh dear. The staff were lovely, but the food was pretty terrible and the bar so poorly stocked (out of basics) even the waitress was embarrassed. Double bed was lumpy in the middle. Windows filthy (see photos) and generally not thoroughly clean. I wanted to like the place at it was cosy and had a nice atmosphere, but I can only review based on my experience and goodness me, it was bad... and it wasn't particularly cheap either.

Stayed again for my birthday, I just love this place the atmosphere, food and staff make this a truly memorable stay every time, breakfast, dinner is wonderful and the pizza oven is an awesome plus, it so convenient for us to steal a night away from the children. We are now going for my husbands birthday 🎉

Christmas dinner 2023: the WORST Christmas meal I’ve ever had in my life. Most likely the worst meal in general. The food was quite clearly made and reheated in advance. Unfortunately, being Christmas, I felt very bad (I don’t complain a lot) about having to actually ruin all the hardworking staff’s day who gave up their Christmas to work. So, we did complete our payment. However, we really did not enjoy the food.

We stayed two nights for family wedding at Warwick Castle. Arriving quite late on a Friday afternoon, we were made welcome and a table prepared for dinner that night. We all relaxed over first class meal. Service excellent. Staff there were very supportive and helped with all my queries- very adept at coping with Mother of the Groom anxieties. They turned what could have been a stressful occasion into an absolute pleasure. Like extended family. Thank you so much

We were really surprised with the room here - it was more expensive than a beautiful hotel we stayed at in Stratford Upon Avon, so given the extra £70 per night at the Globe, we expected much more! The room was dark, dusty, dated, with no soundproofing whatsoever. The room we stayed in was in desperate need of an upgrade. The only positive I can say about the room is that the bathroom was clean with a powerful shower. The food was also excellent, but they need to either drastically reduce their rates to reflect the quality of the rooms or give the rooms a complete upgrade. One other thing to note is that there is no parking, but the Council car park is only a short walk away, but you can't pay for a full 24hrs, you have to pay again in the morning if you're not leaving before 9am.
