Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very comfy, clean and tidy. Warm and well equipped. Excellent value for money. Car park available. I arrived late but that was no problem. Biscuits in room and ample tea and coffee. Proper kettle. Powerful shower. Bed is larger than normal.

I loved this place. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Everyone was very welcoming. This was so much better than similar places I have stayed recently with similar pricing and so I was really delighted. I enjoyed the breakfast too. It is very well placed for going anywhere in Warwick and close to the station. Lovely stay.

We have stayed here before and have enjoyed it but will go elsewhere in future. We were assured by email we could book in early but when we got there our room wasn't ready. We had somewhere to go which is why we wanted an early start so our plans were spoilt. The place is not what it was and there are plenty of other hotels in Warwick to choose from.

The hotel was located on a junction with a tight entrance. Car park was limited to a few cars but not a problem. Check In was simple one guy welcomed me gave me my key then closed, I arrived at 17:45!! Room was clean and comfortable overlooking the main road but luckily not too busy. The hotel is opposite a parade of small shops and close to a supermarket so food was not a problem. There is a top quality fish and chip shop in the parade which was excellent food but unfortunately no weapons to eat with and nothing in hotel. I found a little reading room at the end of my corridor so ate in there. I left early in the morning again with no staff around but at least my bed was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel to visit Bridge House Theatre just a short walk away. The hotel is on a very busy junction and although the buildings is double glazed traffic noice can be a problem. The hotel is a very old building so floors have settled hear and there making bedroom furniture look way out of plumb Negatives out of the way the young couple running the place were very nice, helpful and professional, our large room had lovely clean bedding, although the beige carpet could do with cleaning, en-suite was adequate although the shower wasn’t very powerful. Breakfast was very good Would use again if ever in area again

We checked in on a Friday night around 6.30pm and informed the hotel we would be a late check in. When we arrived the reception was locked up but there was a notice on the door to call a number. We were shortly joined by a man who got us our keys. He showed us to our room and explained that the key would open our door, the door to the entry point for our room, and also reception. The key would not go in the lock at the entry point for our room (number 16). The man said he would be right back. He took a different route via main reception and opened the door for the inside. He advised he will get that looked at immediately. We told him we would be there for about an hour then were heading out until after midnight. We asked if it would be fixed for our return. He advised it would be. It was not. We had to make our way through reception and through lots of doors and corridors to find our way back to our room. When we checked in the morning the door was still not fixed. Looked to us like a key had broken off in the lock. Our room itself was ok. The bed was clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities. TV that worked well. Unfortunately the shower was covered in grime and mould all over the grouting. We didn't use it as it was so clearly neglected. No one was manning reception at check out time and there was no noticeable place to leave our keys. We ended up throwing them across the desk towards the computer so they would be found by a member of staff. A couple of easy fixes and this stay would have been 5 stars.

Good budget hotel. We had 3 twin rooms for a one night stay. Checked in at 1pm. Managed to get a parking space but they are limited. The check in was easy and friendly. We paid extra £10 each for breakfast and it was worth the money as it was good value and friendly girl served us and we were all happy with it but maybe some juice as well as tea and coffee would be good. Hotel is old and basic but the rooms were big and clean and the beds comfy and large bathrooms. Would stay again. Its about 15 minutes walk to the centre.

The room and location were great and we were very impressed with the size of the room and the way it was decorated. The issues started when we got into the bathroom. My wife tried to use the shower and there was the MOST awful screeching sound coming from the pipes. We would have put up with this but for the really loose shower head which caused water to spray all over the bathroom. Also the shower rail was cold and it wasn’t until the last day that I found that it had been switched off. Had the staff been more visible we could have sorted most of the faults. We were offered £50 off the bill as a gesture and this was appreciated. Overall it was not a bad stay and Warwick is so pretty that it helped. Would we return- maybe

Modern small room which was good for one person, bed was hard but nice bedding. En-suite was a good size and shower was hot and very good pressure. Breakfast is currently served when booked, I arrived Sunday evening and had to call to get my room key and was not fully explained about the breakfast situation, as well as the info booklet only giving the serving hours. This did cause some issues and really could of been handled better in terms of customer service. However the hotel is situated well for restaurants in the evening and well priced for what was on offer.
