Great location, lovely grounds, food was very good.
Room was spacious and clean where it counts. There were cobwebs all across the ceiling,the light fittings, the corners. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and checked in, well someone gave us the key to the room. We went for a rather long walk and were looking foward to a lovely meal and drinks at the restaurant. We came back about 6 and were informed by the barman that the pub was closing, so no meal or drinks for the rest of the evening.
we then had to walk to another pub. It would have been nice to have been informed about this when we checked in. There was no information in the room about the local area, transportation,shops,attractions,etc.
The toilet was broken, ran all the time and tv was difficult to use. TThe traffic noise was a pain, really loud and started very early. more
