I was a bit concerned about what to expect, as I paid a low rate at the last minute when all the hotels I was familiar with were already booked up. As i was staying in Birmingham for a number of days, self catering made me very happy. And what a wonderful surprise the place was. Modern, spotless, spacious, well appointed... and basically all things good. The apartment had two generous sized bedrooms off a central hall area. The kitchen/lounge/dining area was modern yet comfortable, and the facilities were more than I needed. I simply can't fault the place.

Location wise, it was fabulously quiet but just a couple of minutes walk to Broad Street with it's pubs, bars, restaurants etc. i walked to New Street station each morning which took about 10 minutes - ideal exercise when spending the day at a trade show!
