This hotel is a beautiful listed building with a large modern(70's ish) extension. The rooms are a little dated but still looked after well. The staff were very accommodating. This is a centrally located Hotel if you want a break from the Marriott However rooms are dated and shabby. At breakfast you have to listen to Gangster Ghetto rap Music . When you ask the Hotel staff to change the music to somthink more appropriate for a Sunday Morning such as classic FM, you receive slovenly and curt begrudging... more

The hotel is located at the corner of the junctions of Plough and Harrow Road (the B4532) and Hagley Road (A456). There is extensive free parking available within the grounds, with a token system for exiting - tokens provided by reception. Hotel somewhat dated and tired but at the price charged offered very good value for money with a great breakfast. Location ideal for centre within 15 min walk, straight up Broad St, so ideal for nightlife etc. Easy to find in car, good free car parking. more

very nice hotel , great value for money . Used it as a half way stop on the way to Devon. Couldnt find fault with it . The breakfast was fantastic. Will use the hotel again. more
