Ann & Robert are wonderful hosts, I have stayed when showing at the NEC for the last three years. This time I wanted to explore Birmingham City more, so took hubby for a weekend away. The standard of the rooms and the breakfasts are excellent, the fact that if you don't wish to go out in the evening, there is a guest fridge & micro wave is really useful. There are some really good local restaurants ask Ann where to go they really know their area. Birmingham Moor st. Station is only 2 stops away, so Atholl Lodge is handy for not only the NEC bit the NIA too. I've already booked for when I'm at Art Materials Live in November. excellent value for money, in a lovely house. more
