We stayed here as part of a National Holidays overnight trip to the Clothes show and have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. Talking to other guests we must have been lucky as our room was clean, warm and of a good size and standard. The bathroom was rather dated but the shower hot and powerful. I gather that... more

We were due to stay here last night as a group from work. We called ni the day to say that we would be late due to ongoing work and our rooms were confirmed. We arrived to be told that the 6 rooms we were expecting that there were only 2 rooms. We got moved to another hotel and vowed... more

I have just returned from a night in the Quality Hotel and I think it is the shabbiest hotel I have every stayed in. The first room we were put it we refused point black to stay in as it was unihabitable! Everything about it was poor. The decor peeling off the walls, mouldy windows, grey this bedsheets, threadbare towels.... more

Me and the rest of my family stayed here for the weekend once, in order to see my daughter who is doing a degree at birmingham university. We were welcomed to a rather boring room with dull colours and a small, bad-singnalled TV. However, in all fairness to the place, it was clean. I can;t say I particularly wanted to... more

I stayed for one night last week in this Hotel, I arrived at 10.30pm and left at 8.30am the next morning, that believe me was long enough!!! There was no food other than a stodgy sandwich when I arrived and an overcooked, dry breakfast in the morning. The corridors should have warned me, the carpets were worn and the lighting... more

Just back from a weekend in Birmingham where we stayed in the Quality Hotel, Hagley Road. It's in the middle of a refurb so dripping water and cables were sights we got used to! We had two double rooms next to each other, which were also next to the boiler that turned on and sounded like an airplane at 5.30... more

I stayed last week at the Quality Hotel. A brave choice of name for such a poor hotel. The rooms were clean but very dated in apperance. The hotel web site states satelite TV available in rooms, in reality this is 1 music channel and poor TV signal on a very small tv.The shower unit was broken and did not work... more
