The hotel's location in the chinatown area of Birmingham close by the Hippodrome is excellent. 5 mins walk to New Street station and about 10mins from the shops and museums it couldn't be better. The room itself was very basic but everything worked which was fine. Breakfast was just cereal, fruit, toast and tea coffee juice which was fine for... more

This hotel is very close to Birmingham New Street station and the Bullring which made our life easier! The hotel entrance is modern and clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel corridors leading to rooms could be updated and the room was rather small. Our room was at the back of the hotel facing bars and... more

The hotel is fantastically located for a weekend away, short walk from Birmingham train station and the Bull Ring shopping centre... all the bars clubs and restaurants you could ever want are within a short walk. The hotel is located in what looks like the smallest chinatown I've ever seen but the food is fantastic in the restaurant directly opposite... more

Stayed just one night but overall the hotel was fine. The location is great - right in the city centre with Bullring just over the road, the Hippodrome a stone's throw away. (As a National Trust member I also discovered I could visit the 'Birmingham Back-to-Backs. The NT have conserved and furnished of the period a small courtyard of terraced... more

The location of the hotel is excellent. Its approximately 5mins walk from the Birmingham New Street train station, right in Chinatown and 2mins walk to the theater. I paid approximately GBP60/night and was only in Birmingham for 2nights. The room itself is small but clean. The bathroom just have a shower but very small. Beds are alright and clean. Generally... more

If your visiting Birmingham and want to be near all attractions and nightlife then this is the place to stay. It can be loud at night from the street so if you want to sleep, request a quiet room. All staff are friendly, you even get a "Good Morning" when you pass every member of staff (A rare thing these... more

I stayed at this hotel for three nights to attend a convention. It was convenient to the city center but not convenient to the convention center. Rooms were very bare and small. Hard bed and pillow. Tiny shower and bathroom. No bars of soap - only liquid soap in the shower. TIny, rough towels. Service was friendly. This was a... more

I recently stayed Friday to Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location and very close to all Birmingham provides - shopping, nightlife etc. Only had one problem with the internet but that was fixed promptly by reception staff. Overall I was very satisifed and would definitely use this again next time I'm in Birmingham. more
