We stayed here for a short family break 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were polite and friendly. We did not have an evening meal in the Restaurant so cannot comment on the prices. We did have breakfast which was a buffet style and had most things. The leisure facilities were clean and provided towels, the children loved the... More

Hotel, motel, Holiday Inn... Yes, it's a Holiday Inn, so you should know what to expect. And this place delivers. Nothing to complain about, place is clean, staff are friendly, loads of parking, and this place has got a full pool and sauna and all that jazz. Food's not great, but you're not coming here for a posh night out,... More

I stayed here two weeks ago and I can honestly say I would never use this hotel again as the prices for the ala carte restaurant were ridiculous, £18 for a steak??? £7.35 for a glass of wine!!!!?? its a joke, this hotel is in serious need of a price change, also the internet is very over-priced too. One good... More

Initially when booking the room we had planned to check in as a couple. However, last minute changes meant we had to bring our two children with us. We had decided to take the gamble and turn up to the hotel hoping there was the option of taking a family room. On check Sonia had noticed that we had two... More

I stayed for one night a couple of weekends ago and I really enjoyed it. It was spotless and modern. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen tv had full freeview available, unlike some hotels I have stayed at recently. I was disappointed that I had not taken my swimming gear as the leisure club looked great and next... More

stayed here in january 2012 for one night as Birmingham city centre was either full or too expensive. from my arrival it was the small thoughful touches that really stood out to me, at check in the General Manager was in the lobby greeting everyone and were really friendly asking about me as an individual, which I found refreshing. Overall this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in... I travel a lot due to my job so stay in a lot of holiday inn. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful however I then met the operations manager daniel who was the rudest and most self centred man I'd met! Usually managers are very welcoming and... Very mediocre. So-called executive rooms are a bit dated. The crowning disappointment was the restaurant. Of the three people near me one sent his starter back as it was in edible, one complained as a side dish he ordered hadn't arrived by the time he finished and I had the same issue! Very poor. I suppose the hotel is close... More

Visiting family i chose to stay at this hotel, i had read a few reviews and wasnt expecting anything more than an ok stay. However the welcome we got on arrival was lovely. A bit of a long walk to the room and the corridors are a bit bland but the room was very nice. Breakfast was busy and some... More

Dear Margaret Many thanks for taking the time to review the hotel. I am pleased to read the hotel and staff exceeded your expectations, although slightly disappointed we did not have the full breakfast offering as this is an area we have focused on in 2011. I am very happy you received a warm welcome as I do believe our... More
