This was our second time here, and although we are regular stayers in Holiday Inns, this one is in need of some improvement. The service at check in did not make you feel as valued as other locations. For those with children, the family rooms here are the smallest that we've stayed in. The breakfast had the lowest choice of fruits,... more

This hotel was OK for a few nights stay whilst working nearby. Whilst were staying there I think there was a celebrity lookalike convention on as we saw loads of people around in the bar area. Sat but 10 yards from us was Paul Daniels although unfortunately Debbie wasnt accompanying him that night. The bloke behind the bar was the... more

We stayed here 1 night in a family room with spouse and a 7 & 9 year old on the way back from Alton Towers and booked Dinner Bed & Breakfast deal at £85. The bedroom had been slightly tarted up (new headboard), but the bathroom just looked tired and well used. This description fits most of the corridors and... more

I stayed here recently on the way back from London to Ireland. My room wasn't very dirty but it definitely hadn't been cleaned as I found champagne corks on the floor. The walls were paper thin and someone in the room next to mine must have been ill as the toilet door squeaked open on average every 15 minutes all... more

I have recently organised a conference at the hotel and recognise that several issues could be done much better. The rooms were clean and comfortable with the exception of the bathroom - despite spending a couple of days at the hotel there were several long hairs which were not cleaned from the previous occupant - not pleasant!! There were a... more

Stayed here for one night between Christmas and New Year, 2 adults and one child, paying £55 bed and breakfast (advance purchase rate....or so we thought). The first thing to say is that this hotel offered excellent value for the price we paid. Due to the time of year, the hotel was not busy at all, so this review takes... more

Rooms were all right and service was fine but beware of the breakfast buffet. It is an added (and way over priced) charge and provided the worst value of any meal in my life. There were limited choices and the quality was poor. For 41.85 I really felt that i was taken advantage of. I complained later and was basically... more

Just a one night stay for business and not the greatest choices. Am a big fan of the Holiday Inn, as you can collect BA Miles, but their properties in the US seem to be of a significantly higher standard than in the UK. In summary, bathroom was very dated and extermeley compact. Room had 2 single beds - when... more
