I have stayed at this hotel once a year for the last four years to visit the NEC.
It's as the title says, its small family run hotel. The accommodation is clean and maintained. The food is nothing special but nothing wrong with it, breakfasts are the usual full English affair though they are happy to make up what you want.
The other guests are normally repeat visitors also visiting the NEC which is a 5 minute drive away.
The Hotel is alongside the Airport but the rooms are double glazed and planes don't seem to take off or land between 2230hrs and 0630hrs.
The Hotel is located on the A45, very busy and you can't walk to or from the Hotel so without a car you're stuck there.
The staff are welcoming and friendly, I stayed there with my 7 year old child last year and I've seen other guests with young children, I would say the Hotel is child friendly.

All in all an excellent choice for the NEC visit! more
