most british accommodation is overpriced and this small suburban hotel is cheap and cheerful. clean sheets and near to bus and train to city. I stayed a week.. rooms were serviced every second day and the room is small, walls are thin... but overall good value for £... more

Good points: clean sheets, lots of hot water, friendly staff, lots of tea and coffee
Bad points: Decor was terrible - front falling off chest and wallpaper peeling from ceiling, generally dingy, unkempt appearance

I will say I only paid £25 a night for my room only (the only service they were offering) and got what I paid for. This was OK for a budget stay over for a conference but would not want to spend more than 2 nights there and definately not for a holiday. more
