We stayed for one night at the Travelodge Yardley and found the hotel suited me and my family for an airport stop over for one night, it’s about a 10 to 15 min drive from the hotel to the airport. The beds and the bathroom were all clean and tidy but the general feel the room’s need updating there are... more

I have to say that this trip was organised by my fiance and he panicked once I showed him the reviews! We were staying for 1 night to go to the Motocycle show at the NEC. We really needn't of worried. Now we are used to staying in 4-5* hotels, costing around £200 per night. This lodge cost £29. It... more

We checked in and checked out straight away. Our room was cold, damp, smelly and had black mould growing up 2 walls. The room did not appear to have been cleaned and a present had been left in the toilet. The staff could'nt even be bother to check the room for us. I will never stay in a Travelodge again. more

Will never stay here again. Like the others before me we can describe this lodge as the pits. The place is not clean. 4 nights I was supposed to stay. Managed 3 and then moved to a friends house. Not clean. I arrived and one bath towel was dirty. I put on bathroom floor. Came back to find it was... more

we stayed here for 1 night as we were flying from birmingham airport. its probably the most dated travelodge i have ever stayed in and rooms could do with some attention. the double bed was a bit saggy in the middle and bathroom a bit tired looking. however we did only pay £29 for the room so you do get... more

We stayed here for the night. Children didnt settle on the sofa bed so I switched with my youngest and settled down for the night, Within minutes was overwhelmed by an intense itching that kept me awake all night. Didnt think to throw all luggage away on returning home which was a big mistake to date the infestation hasnt cleared... more

Well... we stayed here last year for one night for the "Focus on Imaging" show based at the NEC. It was very nice. This time though... I wasn't impressed. We booked well in advance for 2 nights but had to pay an average of £45 per night. The room was basically clean, although dusty and the bathroom was grotty. It... more

We booked 5 rooms as our family was over for a party. Could not fault the hotel. The rooms were spotless, when we asked for extra duvets and towels we got them no problem! We needed an iron and they gave us one along with ironing board for nothing. Really cant speak highly enough of the staff, especially the woman... more

Stayed here for one night on business as part of my efforts to reduce expenditure in the credit crunch. Check-in simple and quick, no queue, parking immediately outside the hotel entrance and plenty of spaces. Room was on the 1st floor and very basic - one tiny bar of soap in the bathroom, and that was it - not even... more

We booked this room for £30 through the Travelodge website. We went to a concert at the NEC and this is just a few minutes drive away on one of the main roads into the city. The reception staff were very smiley and friendly and when I asked for more towels they were brought to the room in a matter... more
