I feel a bit bad complaining as it is cheap for a hotel a short bus ride from the centre of Birmingham, but there really isn't much to say for it. Very basic. The rooms were clean, but the staff otherwise seem largely uninterested in their hotel, to the point of appearing surprised when you ring the doorbell. A 2003 desk calendar wrapped in dirty plastic forms part of the check-in desk. The decor is pretty hilarious 1970s--four poster beds, carpeted bathrooms. It's in a residential area. more
