My partner and I stayed at this hotel as a place to lay our heads for one night whilst in the UK visiting family. We paid 19.00GBP in total for two of us to stay for one night and it did exactly what it says on the tin. Its a Travelodge therefore not a luxury hotel just a basic room... more

My wife and I used to live in the West Midlands and booked the basement area for my stepdaughter's engagement party when its standards were very good.Since moving to Cornwall 8 years ago we have stayed there when the hotel was owned by the Quality group.Yes, changes obviously but standards were still good. Sadly under Travelodge all that has gone.... more

I needed a hotel room Nr Birmingham and because of a large exhibition at the NEC the only available vacancies were at this so-called place of hospitality. On arrival I waited 15 mins for someone to check me in. The receptionist doubles up as the barmaid so had to wait for her to return before I could check in. Then... more

I am not someone that books a £29 room and expects the Ritz. What I do expect is a basic level of cleanliness and I did not get it here. The carpet was FILTHY and the walls were black with dirt with pealing wall paper. We were offered breakfast at £7.50 but I would not have considered eating anything prepared... more

Got a last minute reservation here in order to do the ToughGuy run in Wolverhampton. I had stayed in a lot of travelodges before so didn't expect too much but just wanted a place to get a good night's sleep before the run. Well parking was great, within steps of the door. Reception were nice and helpful. Next the room......... more

Stayed here for 1 night, the rooms are a bit 'tired' looking, but lovely & clean. I was facing the main road but had a good night's sleep. Did not try food. Receptionist was very friendly & helpful, gave change for the vending machine & a glass of water (with ice) when I mentioned I just needed water to take... more

I chose this Travelodge as it was situated just outside Walsall on the ring road and on a direct bus route from Birmingham. The buses were frequent and it took less than 30 minutes to the city centre and less than 10 to Walsall from the stop outside. On first approach on a dreary Friday evening it didn't exactly look... more

I do realise that this Hotel is due a refurb and oh boy does it need it. When we arrived I truthfully thought this was a derelict building, no other cars in the car park!. My first comment is that the staff are fine, helpful and friendly. The first room we were given was awful, smelt of beer and had... more

Although car parking is £3 for 24hrs is it free for disabled blue badge holders (four spaces) We were offered a swap to the disabled room as soon as we arrived after staff realized i had walking problems. The room was at the back - so was quiet. Plasma TV /comfortable bed/basic furniture. Wet room with bright clean red tiles.... more
