Clean Hotel, decent rooms, decent buffet, no wifi at time though (not sure now) Star City is far from city centre but close to eateries. Quiet part of the Birmingham. Will cost you about 7 pound to get to town by taxi. more

Parking: They have ladies only parking spaces which are allocated at the front of the hotel, which I thought was a good idea especially if your coming back to the hotel late. Staff: Are quiet friendly and helpful, although we did have a staff member walk into our room without knocking! And this was in the evening.. which I found... more

This hotel is well positioned almost straight opposite Star City and really close to Aston Villa's ground. It is 4 miles away from the town centre but a taxi in to the centre only cost £7 on the way in and £10 in a black cab on way back. The taxi ranks in Birmingham are really well organised. The rooms:... more

Looks welcoming and modern when entering however rooms were nothing special. I paid half the price for 1 night in a travelodge the night before and was at the same standard as this hotel so wouldnt say it was value for money. Mould flaked off from under the shower door when the shower was on so wasnt very pleasant, also... more

Stayed here for one night as i had a show to go to at NEC. Well located between city centre and NEC. Easy check -in and check out. Large modern rooms, clean bathroom. I ate at Star City which is just over the road, which is convenient. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. more
