Staying at the Oak started off as a pleasent experiance, the room was tidy clean and very bright :) the bathroom emaculate. Excellent food, good accomodation, lovely log fire, very friendly staff, and very good for being dog friendly. Wonderful surrounding walks. Only three miles from Coventry city centre more
First time we have ever stayed at The Oak we normally stay in the big hotels. We had trouble booking a hotel for the date we wanted, I saw The Oak on the web site. We stayed at the Oak 09/08/08, and have to say its an absolute bargain! nice room, very friendly staff, great shower and a comfortable sleep. Also we had trouble getting a taxi from where we was, phoned the hotel to see if they could order us a taxi, when they couldn't the manager phoned back and offered to pick us... more
£40/room was exceptional value for this quiet, clean, modern and pet friendly hotel. Situated on the perimeter of Coventry Airport, the accommodation was in an annex to The Oak Pub.
