well, that was an experience if nothing else! this place needs a lot of investment to bring it out of the 70's. The bedrooms felt cold, smelt damp and have a poor mixture of furniture and decor done on the cheap. Also there were one or two little tricks going on that surely cannot adhere to health + safety regs!... more
We booked this hotel through Latedeals.com prior to visiting the GoFishing Show at the NEC. At £39 for both of us, including a full English breakfast, we found this hotel excellent value for money. The proximity of Coventry Airport, with the occasional plane rippling our eyebrow hair, provided us with some amusement [lol], but the hotel was surprisingly quiet and... more
Rooms were terrible with paper peeling off the ceilings and handles missing from bathroom doors. Lights flickered on and off and toilet handles dropped off! Desperately in need of re-decorating and a good clean. Staff were pleasant and no unpleasantness when we booked out the next day. more
Fairly basic and spartan hotel. Clean, but could do with updating - but you get what you pay for at £45 per night. Best suited to tradesmen - don't expect luxury! About 1 mile from the airport passenger terminal more
