We had eaten lunch in the restaurant attached to this hotel before and it was nice so it was an obvious choice when we needed to stay one night in West Sussex.
We booked a family room. For myself and my husband and our toddler. Luckily I called to confirm a few days before and asked about cots. No cots were available. No problem, I said, we have one.
We arrived and went into the bar to check in - there is no dedicated check in but that's okay. The car park round the back has enough space unless you want to check in at peak times (ie after 6pm).
Our room was very well decorated in the main, one large bed and one rollaway bed. Each with high quality bedding. Unfortunately, some of the basics were not quite there.
Specifically: just inside the door is an unmarked step in the carpet which we ALL fell over several times - myself falling onto the sharp corner of the desk they have placed just inside the room.
