The first impression of the room seemed quite good, however upon closer inspection the cleanliness left a lot to be desired (brown streaky marks running down the toilet, for example). I am afraid that this has put me off staying there again. more

The hotel is attached to a vibrant pub where we watched some excellent live music. Rooms are comfortable with free wifi and free view. We had a 4 poster bed and jacuzzi bath. This hotel is really a pub with 11 rooms above. It does not compare with many of the larger hotels but offers good sized rooms that are clean and comfortable with en-suite bath and shower and a good breakfast, at excellent rates. The manager and her staff were helpful and attentive. more

I have stayed at the Vestry several times and can't rate it highly enough. It is set in a great location next to all the local shops, bars and restaurants. Having stayed at the Vestry on numerous occasions I would recommend it highly. The staff in particular are very pleasant and helpful. the only negative is a lack of parking however there is parking nearby. more
