We travelled to Chichester to collect our daughter from University and having looked at the weather forecast decided to stay overnight. We consulted Tripadvisor and Richmond House caught our eye. To say that we were delighted with all aspects of the B & B would be a massive understanding. From the minute we rang to book to the time we... more

A great place to stay, within walking distance of the city centre and easy drive to the coast. Bryan and Heather are fantastic hosts - what really makes the difference is their attention to detail. Things like the super-comfy beds, real milk in flasks in the rooms for tea, real coffee in the rooms, freshly baked muffins and cookies. We... more

We stayed as a couple in Room 3, and were very impressed by the huge 4-poster bed, cosy decor and bathroom with free-standing bath. The Full English (and then some!) breakfast with its local sausages, perfectly fresh bread and delicious home-cooked muffins (to take away!) set us up well for the day's exploring. Heather was away for the weekend but... more

I have stayed in various B&Bs across the country, but the comfort and hospitality of this place is second to none. The friendliness of the host and the hostess, along with their knowledge of local area and amenities, makes the stay even more meaningful. The place is immaculate and each room is prettier than the next. I wish I'd stayed... more

Everything perfect, from the wonderfully comfortable beds, the unusually stylish interiors, lovely residents lounge with grand piano and (best of all), the amazing breakfasts with fresh-baked bread and muffins - and even some to take on your journey. Even Ruth Watson could not fault this B&B! more

This is without doubt the best B & B we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in a few). Everything was perfect from the very tastefully decorated room and LARGE bathroom to the yummy breakfast (whatever and as much as you want), muffins and hmmmm!.......homemade cookies. The icing on the cake was Bryan and Heather.. the perfect hosts... more

This B&B is very special. We stayed for two nights, the first in the small but perfectly formed and stylish Room 2, and then swapped into the very fabulous Room 3, which has the largest (and most comfortable) bed we have ever seen - their biggest challenge was to make us leave at the end of our weekend. Heather and... more
