I have just come back from a fab weekend at this hotel. Its no longer a Marriott and I couldn't fault it. (Except for lack of air conditioning in rooms - to be installed next year) the staff were very friendly and professional, the spa is out of this world and complimentary when you stay. Food in the bar excellent.... more

I stood there for one night and would not recommend this hotel. The staff in the hotel was not at all what you would expect in this category. Check in was slow, procedures not transparent and information about facilities not very helpful or wrong. The rooms and facilities there are wonderful, but unfortunately I could not enjoy it. more

Have just returned from spending a weekend at this,VERY surprsingly, lovely hotel. Having worked in hotels and Hospitality industry for many years I am not easily pleased ! However, I cannot find fault in this hotel. The staff, apart from a slightly 'frosty' receptionist ( in fairness it could be called 'proffessionalism'), were some of the most helpful, and certainly,... more

I stayed here between Christmas and New Year for two nights. The hotel is in a great position for a country break as Goodwood/Chichester are really nice places to visit. When we arrived I asked for a room upgrade... We were due to stay in a standard room and had a free upgrade to an executive room. The executive room... more

This hotel is a fairly new refurbishment on an older style building. in the countryside, next to Goodwood and the stately house. Reception is modern and bright, good service. A long way through several corridors to get to my room, but when I finally got there I found it clean, modern and comfortable. I had a good nights sleep that... more

We stayed 2 nights and the hotel was generally fine (acceptable for a 4 star hotel attached to an international chain). However I have a major caveat with this hotel in that the beds were extremely soft. For anyone with back problems they are impossible to sleep in (I was more comfortable lying on the floor). When we enquired we... more

My wife and I have stayed many times in Marriott hotels. We love the Royal in Bristol, enjoy the views and service of Marriott, Swansea and had the holiday of a lifetime this April in Marriott Phuket. Goodwood Park is popular and sited within a golf club and idyllic countryside. However there seems to be an element of arrogance surrounding... more

Our family of four enjoyed this hotel more than any other on our vacation. Our two rooms were well-furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. Room service was prompt and the food was good. Breakfast buffet had a very good assortment of fruit, cereals, breads, and hot and cold items. The public areas were tastefully decorated and the pool was... more

As Americans, we were looking for a British manor style hotel in the country with the comforts of a Marriott. We definitely found this at Goodwood. Located on a very small unmarked road, you might drive past it were it not for the Marriott sign. All personnel were very friendly saying hello walking past you in the hallways. A couple... more

Stayed at this hotel last year. The room was adequate but nothing special. However, this place has very poor noise insulation. At 12am the TV from next door was very noisy. I had to complain and eventually this was resolved after 15mins. At 3am there was banging noise from next door as the couple were in a big argument next... more
