We stayed in the master suite in the main part of the house. Our hosts Martin and Helen were very accommodating and helpful; even to the extent of recommending and then booking a local pub for us to eat at. They made us feel right at home. However, the best was reserved for the breakfasts which were 5 star. The... More

I stayed at Lockgate Dairy in March 2013 and was very impressed. The location is in a beautiful quiet area, not too far from Chichester and the property itself is very charming with beautiful grounds and gardens. Inside, the accommodation is first class. All the rooms I saw were tastefully decorated with high-quality fixtures and fittings. The bedding, towels, robes... More

We stayed at the Lockgate Dairy over New Years. We rented both cottages for a family reunion. It was perfect! The new owners were very friendly and helpful and we even had a decorated Christmas tree in each cottage!

We have just spent a fabulous weekend at the Lockgate Dairy for a family birthday. As an adult family of 5, we hired the Dairy cottage and also a B&B room. The Dairy is a very pretty self-catering cottage that comfortably sleeps 4 (1 double, 1 twin) with two bathrooms, cosy living/dining space, well appointed kitchen and a mezzanine 'snug'.... More

We spent two very comfortable nights in this peaceful and beautiful b&b. The room and ensuite was very spacious and every detail had been thought of. Also the use of a conservatory and fridge added an extra dimension to our stay. We had a warm welcome from our excellent host, quite simply the best b&b we have ever stayed in.... More

Just returned home after a wonderful 3 days in and around Chichester. Lockgate Dairy was an amazing find and I am so pleased that we found it. The weather was kind to us and it was so lovely to relax in our own private garden in comfortable chairs. The bedroom was beautiful and didn't lack a thing. Luxury bathroom and... More

Wow! True to it's 5 stars - beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings. Light and bright with real attention to detail. Shower room much bigger than expected with lovely heated floor. Extremely good value for money. Set in peaceful gardens. A warm welcome from the owners with homemade cake on arrival. Delicious and varied breakfast selection.
