Stayed here with friends for a weekend in mid December 2008 & it was great. The B&B is really clean & well appointed & the owners are lovely. Real friendly Yorkshire hospitality. The B&B is on the main street & it's an ideal location from which to see & do all the sights in & around Haworth. The steam railway where some of "The Railway Children" was filmed as just down the hill & the Bronte Pasonage museum where the Bronte family spent a good proportion of their lives is at the top of the hill. It's a quaint little village with loads of character, interesting shops, fabulous restaurants & plenty of good pubs too. An added bonus was the Christmas parade the weekend we were there, with brass bands playing carols, morris dancers, a torch procession up the main cobbled street in Haworth & vendors selling mulled wine, as well as all the Christmas lights & decorations & a carol service in the historic church. My husband and I stayed here from 17th - 18th October. We stayed in the Charlotte Bronte room with a four poster bed and full en-suite bathroom, very clean and well equiped with flat screen TV, hairdryer and coffee making facilities. It's only a small B&B with four rooms but the service was great and the full english breakfast was very good. The added bonus is that it is directly on the main street of Haworth. We only stayed one night but we managed to visit the Bronte Parsonage and went on the steam train as well on the Saturday before coming home. We will be back, it is in an excellent location to see all the attractions. more
