Myself and my husband stayed here on Sunday 5th May. It was lovely. A great base for exploring Haworth and the surrounding area, with some wonderful walks that we loved almost as much as our dog. The staff and owners were really friendly and welcoming to us and the dog, and the atmosphere in the bar/lounge on the evening was... More

We stopped off here as we were looking for a pub serving food, with outside dining and also dog friendly - Old Silent Inn had it all! There is a lovely sitting out area at the back of the pub, also at the front as well. Good choice of food, all home cooked. I ordered fish, chips and peas and... More

Just got back from 2 nights here. Great food and good room. Nice feel to the bar area with a great open fire and friendly staff. Location good with nice walks all around. Very scenic due to the snow. Look forward to staying again sometime.

Like stepping back in time. Real ale and open fires. Mix of pub food classics and something a bit fancier. Location- tucked away. Great for walkers and a weekend hide away Food - good size portions and local produce. Worth a visit Drinks - spot on for price and very well kept real ales. Plus they do take away containers... We stayed here for 2 nights in March & took advantage of the £40 per night offer, the price is £40 as long as you have your evening meal at the Old Silent. Very glad that we did eat there as the food was very good, generous helpings, you certainly wont leave feeling hungry!. I think the breakfast was probably... More

We stopped one night. The bathroom door did not shut in the first room. As it happened, this proved to be fortunate, as the next room we were given was twice the size. we were impressed that the heating remained on throughout the night, so we didn't freeze. The food was well priced with a good selection, although there was... More

Very good selection on the menu, all of which sounded delicious. I had crab cakes to start with, which were lovely and then the lamb shank which was good (though the type of roasted veg with it included peppers, which I thought was a bit odd) and no room for pudding! All of my fellow dinners loved the food (pie,... More

Real country pub, real ale, real log fires dogs allowed indoors, historic interest , low ceilings beautiful beams cosy very friendly.stunning countryside. We had 10 oz rib eye steak at £15 per head for a pub pit pricy but it was very tasty but we felt a few slices of potatoes and a teaspoon of Savoy cabbage a bit poor.... More

Warm welcome from attentive and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere with open fire. Food was simple but tasty and fresh. Peas seemed like they were fresh from the pod and not frozen. Pie was delicious, full of flavor and excellent chips. Our waitress was really friendly. Overall, well impressed to find a pub that tries not to be too fancy, and... More

We regularly go to this Inn and eat and it upsets me greatly to read the review by Holidaymaker that they were obviously after a free night and insult and upset the other customers and the manager. This Inn always has good food and service we have never had any problems what so ever. So anyone who reads these nasty... More
