Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent value. Excellent varied choice for breakfast; staff very accommodating for anything non-standard. Accommodation comfortable and quirky. Location perfect for base for visiting other interesting places in the area. Good arrangement with nearby pub for parking the car.

We called in here on the off chance that they could fit us in for an evening meal. The young man was very helpful despite expecting a large party and was able to fit us in. The meal we had was beautifully cooked and presented. A nice experience.

Our 2nd stay here & we will be back. Stayed in The Secret Garden room as this time we had our son with us (triple room). Bacon at breakfast is wonderful & great service :) Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer !
