we stayed for a weekend at aitches guest house have now stayed 3 times in total, we taken our dogs, we found aitches to be a clean and comfortable guest house where we are made to feel most welcome. we would definitely return to aitches, the negative comments earlier in this review we found to be untrue and would advise... more

In February 2009 we booked a 7 night stay for September 2009. A few days before leaving we read the comments on this site and we were concerned about the negative ones. However, on arrival we found David the owner to be most helpful and courteous, helping us with our luggage and advising us about car parking. The room was... more

I stayed here with my daughter, aged 13, as a three night trip. It was excellent value, as the third night was free. We had a comfortable room overlooking the high street. Location is excellent - parking is right behind the guesthouse and is plentiful and cheap. I bought a ticket after 6pm, which lasted all night, and for the... more

We had the twin room in the cellar and it was fine for one night--very comfortable beds, roomy than we expected, and quaintly in keeping with the rest of Haworth. The best thing about Aitches is definitely the location--just half a block to the Black Bull and White Lion Hotel and the Parsonage. Would definitely stay here again. Good value. more

We stayed here with our dog recently and have to agree with previous comments that the place is in real need of a good clean. We were in the "dog room" with our own outside access door, which was actually a very small basement room. It smelt damp, the wallpaper at the back of the bed was coming away, mould... more

Thank goodness I ignored previous comments on this guesthouse. We stayed two nights and found it to be fine. The guesthouse is on the main street which takes advantage of great restaurants and access to the moors. I went with my husband two children and mother in law. We all had a great time. The attic room is up a... more

Although specifically asking about the size of the room I booked before arrival and being assured that our room was roomy, it was not. We stay in approximately ten guest houses / hotels a year and this is the worst ever. The attic, (yes, attic), which was our room is dangerous. It has no windows and therefore no natural light,... more

I find it hard to understand how this place receives so many positive reviews. This is the dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. We were shown up the steep staircase to the attic room. The stairs are dangerous; there is no handrail, the carpet is coming away in places. The stairs are not wide enough for you to place... more

The other reviews of this guest house are all so positive that I wonder quite why our experience didn't live up to expectations. We just didn't take to this place at all. We found it well located, certainly, but the rooms were very dated and tired. We booked two rooms, the one at the top of the house with the... more

Self and wife looking for good value accommodation for a Bronte-weekend in Haworth. Really very pleased with Aitches. The location could hardly be better and the proprietors were very helpful and informative. Given a discount for the minor inconvenience of moving rooms over the weekend as we had booked late. A peculiarity is that the cheaper top room has a... more
