This was a very basic hotel. Reception was terrible as no rooms were 'available' despite having made reservation some 2 months earlier and confirmed. Wanted to move us to a hotel far away, despite the fact we had no car. After insisting and lengthy telephone conversation with head office, all of a sudden rooms were available! The next day, breakfast... More

With a discount offer it cost me £24 to stay here. Typical Travelodge, standard everything, sufficiently clean, we had a larger than usual/expected room and were very comfortable for our single night stay. Didn't see much of the staff, but lady at check-in was pleasant enough. There is only a cold breakfast package which is served to your room for... More

I stayed here from 19 - 25 April 2013. The room was very nice. It was spacious. and nice and warm. I was on the ground floor. The staff I met as in Giunita times two, Claire and Charlotte are lovely people. I did not notice noise as I sleep soundly. The breakfasts were brought to me and very nice.... More

We arrived here after a long day travelling to be put in a disability room that looked like it had just come out the dark ages with it's grey walls and shabby old furniture. After complaining about the cleanliness of the room and the fact it was a disability room and this hasn't been stated when I booked this place... More

Another ex Innkeepers Lodge Travelodge, which always seem to be of a higher standard. Usual problem with mould in the bathroom, but I have to say that I had the best nights' sleep I have had for a long time. Staff are very helpful. Only problem is doors slamming as it is impossible to close them quietly when leaving the... More

When we arrived at this Travel Lodge it had started snowing and the car park was down a quiet steep slope, so we decided to park on the Toby Carvery car park on the top of the slope. This meant that the car would slip but meant that the risk of persons slipping was high. The amount of grit which... More

I stayed there once was kept up all night by youths partying in the next room. There was no security the only member of staff on duty was a young girl. When asked to keep noise down both my husband and other guests staying there were threatened with violence. During the early hours of the morning there was a fight in... More
