This is possibly the worst Crown Plaza I've ever stayed at. Tatty rooms, bodged repair jobs, a bathroom from the 1980's - I can't believe they charge premium prices for a premium room! Back to the Marriott for me next time! more

We got this as a top secret hotel on last minute.com and for £50 it was ok but wouldnt rush back. About a 10 min walk to centre. Seemed to be short staffed and there was either no one on reception or just one person on. Gym was ok. Staff in spa helpful. Room ordinary and dated. Bathroom could do... more
This hotel is clean and comfortable and sited right in the heart of Leeds. It is efficiently run and well managed. more
Overall the hotel was fine - not cheap but it had a swimming pool which was of an adequate size. Our bedroom and the whole of the floor smelt strongly of new carpet and fluff from the carpet stuck to everything. The room itself was fine. In fact the word "fine" and "adequate" keep springing to mind as suitable adjectives... more
For a Leeds City Centre Hotel you can't beat it. Not the cheapest but efficient with fantastic rooms - not dissimilar to the Leeds Marriott. What makes the Crowne Plaze is that it is in a quiet side of town, has large rooms and good staff.Breakfast now starts at 6.30 am which is excellent. Car park is a tad pricey at... more

Food very good, had room service on 2nd night, arrived very promptly, were told probably 40 minute wait, it actually arrived after 20 mins. Breakfast good, service good. Bed extremely comfi, we had a bottle of... more

I stay here every other week for a couple of nights - work obviously. There have been several times when I have had to be booked out due to problems with the rooms - there are rooms on the 2nd floor where the smell of chlorine from the pool is overpowering and others where the noise from the a/c prevents... more
I thought this hotel was closer to the train station that it actually was - not that it was far but carrying a heavy bag made it seem further! The staff were really friendly, the bedroom was large and comfortable with a great view over the ring road (well at night it was nice anyway!) looking towards Kirkstall. There was... more
Half term break with teenage children. Staff were excellent ... reception staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very poor ... not acceptable even for a large chain hotel. ( however front of house staff were excellent ) Facilities were good but the swimming pool and shower area are in desperate need of immediate attention. About 10 minutes... more
