This hotel is terrible! The best things about it are - the staff and the location. The rooms were realtively clean, no major issues there, but a few dirty marks on lamps and mirrors. Bed linen looked clean, same with the towels. Very nice and efficient staff at reception and over night staff. But, the worst things outweigh any positives....... more

This Travelodge is located in Blayd's Court, just off Swinegate, a mainly one-way road. The site is shared with Chaophraya, a Thai restaurant below the hotel itself. Despite the trains trundling past our room, and despite the banging of the dustbins below us, we did manage to sleep quite well. The room was as basic as you would expect from a Travelodge, with stains on the walls and a ripped cover on the sofa. Our pillows were pretty pathetic and we wished we had asked for more.... more
