I stayed there before my graduation in July with mum and dad. It was good value for money, £65 for a family room including a lovely breakfast. The room was quite clean and tidy. I slept well at that night, it was peace and lovely (no noise). Air conditioning was also available. The location was good as well, which is... more

Stayed here for New Year's Eve and was very pleased and surprised at the quality of the rooms. The reception is very small and there is no parking but the rooms are lovely and clean and the showers are fantastic power showers. I'd definitely stay here again for a short stay. more

good value,

We had a family room, very spacious, lovely power shower. Breakfast fine, bar busy and smokey, but heh we only paid £160 for three nights for two adults and two children including full breakfast, Its in the city centre so expect a little noise. more

I am not sure what the rooms were like for other people that have stayed at this hotel, but mine was extremely disappointing to say the least. The hotel advertises that it has been renovated, but what it doesn't say is that not all of the rooms have been redone. I was given a noisy, tatty room that had stains... more

Me and my mate stayed there 22 - 23 April commisserating my 25th birthday. Ok, so it's a little walk from the station, and they lock the doors at 11 so you have to buzz in, and the rooms aren't exactly up to "Hilton" standards ... who cares? Its a ten minute walk to Squares, round the corner from Oceana... more

We were just spending one night in Leeds so we were looking for an affordable and central hotel. Riva fit the bill. The room was big and had a nice bathroom with a great power shower (no bath). It was a 5 minute walk to the shopping streets and was quiet at night. Perfect. (There was also a nice Indian... more

Well located and decent sized rooms. Didn't pay for breakfast - there are plenty of cafes around. Parking is only available in the public car park over the road but this was not a problem. The staff were friendly and the place seemed to have been recently renovated, even if they still have a problem with poor ventilation meaning some... more

stayed here and was quite surprised after reading some poor reviews on here. Room was pleasent enough decorated in a modern hotel style. Didn't sample the breakfast so i can't comment on that. Overall i'd say a good hotel for business or a weekend in leeds. My only gripe was having difficulty finding somewhere to park, but leeds is always... more

Great central hotel, smack bam in the centre of Leeds, shopping, pubs and clubs all in close location, Headingley stadium £5 taxi ride away. Rooms - Very clean, nothing special, tea, coffee facilities, beds were comfy, pillows smelled a little smokey (In a non smoking room) but nothing to shout about. Breakfast - Self service, very quiet! Tea/Coffee/Toast served to... more
