Manor Farm is a gracious Georgian house on Avebury's tiny High St, so within the stone circle. I had a large double for single occupancy, plus use of a sitting room with small rather antiquated TV downstairs (which would be shared with anyone else staying). The room was not en suite, but the bathroom was near and was huge and elegant. And, unlike so many English B & Bs, it was WARM. Nice touches like sherry as well as tea etc in the room. Good breakfast. All very middle-class countrified loveliness. For £60 I thought this was good value. more
