We stayed here for 2 nights in May and loved it. It's attached to a Rare Breeds Farm, and your accommodation fee allows you unlimited access to it! Being an absolute animal lover, this was heaven for me, particularly being able to pat oodles of rabbits!!
Accommodation-wise, our room was clean and the bathroom (shared) was also. I was very impressed with the women's bathroom, with a huge shower (rare in youth hostels!!) and a heated towel rail (also unexpected!). Unfortunately there weren't any double rooms at all, so my husband and I had bunk beds. He's very tall and so had to take the mattress off his bed and place it on the floor to sleep. This is something he's used to, not a complaint! Breakfast was fine - toast, cereal and drinks.
Only problem we had was being so close to the bathroom and the stairs made our room very noisy, particularly when there's very loud American tourists that feel the need to roam the hotel late at night yelling to their friends, and...
