Myself and my husband stumbled on this gem of a find whilst out and about for the day. Surrounded by idealic countryside this really is a home from home.

The Landlord was helpful when we explained we needed a room for the night and offered us one of the newly refurbished guest bedrooms.

We were shown to our room by the Landlady, Pam, and given our key which included a front door key so we could come and go as we pleased. She asked us what time we would like breakfast in the morning, told us to shout if we needed anything more and then left us to settle in. The room was perfect, clean, with tea & coffee making facilities and an on-suite shower room.

We decided to try out the food in the pub and ventured on down to the bar, the menu was full of home made good old fashioned pub grub and whilst my husband opted for the Home made Steak & Ale pie, I had the Home made Lasagne with garlic bread.
