Cannot recommend this lovely English Inn highly enough! Only ended up booking here as the hotel we stayed at the previous night was fully booked for the Saturday and we were determined on a two night break. After looking through all the available nearby accommodation we liked the look of this 15th century pub - decided to take a chance and were certainly not disappointed!!
The pub itself is typical Olde England – flagstone floors and all, clean, light and picture perfect. The staff were all extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome to their beautiful village. The accommodation was lovely – the rooms are in a separate building which look like little cottages from the outside and are actually self contained appartments inside. Everything you could want was provided – bathroom essentials – tea/coffee/ hot choc & biscuits. Comfy bed and super soft towelling robes.
