We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel is very well located, a 5 minute walk from the town centre. There was ample free parking. We thought it was very good value, the breakfast was excellent and we were given a free drink on arrival. The decor is dated but it was very... more

Returned yesterday from a 2 night stay at the Milford Hall. We booked a special offer of 2 nights B&B including dinner for £180. There was loads of parking spaces and the check in process was both very efficient but extremely friendly. The room (31) was a good size with great facilities ie; Tea & Coffee, aircon, ironing board &... more

The hotel is walking distance to the centre, is very quiet and has plenty of free parking. The breakfast was very nice and the staff friendly. Overall, for the price we paid - a deal directly from the hotel, this represents good value. more

Having read some of the reviews about this hotel, my friend and I were unsure what to expect, however we need not have had any concerns as we found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and helpful, the hotel location was excellent for our needs. I’ve stayed at the Milford before and wasn’t impressed. With a degree of trepidation, another stay was on the cards due to work commitments. In my opinion, this hotel needs to get the basics right and improve customer service. In no particular order: First night. I had left my suitcase at reception in the morning. I would have thought it... more

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way to and from Devon for a short week-end Family event to split up the journey. The hotel was fine, the check-in was smooth and polite, the room was clean and quiet and we ate in the restaurant one night where the food was tasty but quite expensive for what it was (About... more

We recently stayed at The Milford Hall whilst visting relatives in Salisbury. We had not stayed here before but now cannot wait to go back. After staying in other Hotels and B&B's in the area we could not believe we hadnt found this one before! All of the staff, from the moment we arrived, were extremely proffesional, friendly and polite... more

Despite a couple of bad reviews, our experience was that this was a very good hotel. The reception was efficient and extremley helpful, the room was a good size and the bathroom clean. Everything worked at Milford, which is unusual in British hotels, there is normally something wrong, heating, the taps, the lights the TV etc. The hotel is easy... more

Looking for a mid-holidays getaway from the relatives, we booked into the Milford Hall Hotel via Laterooms and got a very good deal: £50 for a double room en suite. Our room was situated in the new hotel block out the back of the impressive period main house (where I imagine the upscale rooms are). Although it's not the most... more
