Unfortunately I did not get to stay at the Wyndham Lodge due to cancelled flights. However, I was disappointed with the subsequent unprofessional handling of my booking. After initially been told that the cancellation charge had been waived, my credit card was subsequently debited without notification or receipt. more

Management response from

Our Cancellation policy clearly states we need 24 hours notice in which to cancel a booking without penalty. After having a call re cancellation less than 24 hours before the stay we said we would do our best to re-let the room in which case, if we did, we would waive the guest charge. (we are not obliged to do...

This is a great place. It is just outside the city center and close to the circle road around the city. The host and hostess are the most gracious we encountered in a 3 week trip to england. The rooms were clean and smartly decorated. There is a choice of breakfasts and there were all good. Even though the family... more

We stayed at this B&B as our first stop on a transatlantic trip with our teen. While we had a rental car, the Lodge is within walking distance of the center of town and the cathedral--we did not use our car in town. The family room was big enough for 3 people to share, with suitcases, without tripping over each... more

Perfect! That's, without sheer doubt, the best word to describe this B&B. The rooms are very confortable, clean, beautifully decorated and quiet. There's no way you won't feel relaxed here the moment you've arrived. Suzanne and Peter, the hosts, are very nice and will spoil you with a great breakfast and an excelent tray of hot chocolate, cookies, among other... more

It has been awhile since my husband and I returned from our trip to the UK. I've finally had the chance to pass on some info to anyone who might be interested in staying in Salisbury. Out of all the b&b's we stayed in during our vacation, the best one was the Wyndham Park Lodge in Salisbury. The owner, Suzanne,... more

This is a marvelous place to stay! Suzanne and Peter go out of their way to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. The breakfast selections are varied and all I tried were delicious. The location is convenient - close enough to downtown Salisbury to walk to everything, but far enough away for it to be very peaceful. Three... more

I stayed two nights last August. Although I stayed in more luxurious lodgings during a 2-month trip thru Britain, overall, the Wyndham Park was the best in terms of overall friendliness, cleanliness, breakfast, price, facilities and just general good feeling. It felt like staying at your Aunt Martha's house in the country. Suzanne really makes you feel like home. Highly... more

We loved our room (tucked in the back, off the garden). It was so quiet and felt like we had our own little house. Suzanne was a gracious hostess. She went out of her way to see if there were tickets available for the local production of "My Fair Lady". Suzanne's breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast room was charming.... more

We were so delighted with everything about the Wyndham Park Lodge. We stayed in the family room, even though it was just the two of us, and it was magnificent and large! Suzanne has a heater and fan in case you are not comfortable with the windows open and the outside temperature. I'm very picky about how clean rooms and... more
