We recently returned from our second stay at Liz &Davids wonderful farmhouse. It was every bit as good as our first visit, the breakfasts are lovely( not good for the waist line ) with such a wide selection from fresh fruit through to a full English. As before we had all the comforts of home with the quality of a... more

Lizzie and David are the perfect hosts in this ideally situated B&B. We had a really relaxing stay and found the rooms to be spotlessly clean and tidy. Lizzie's attention to detail is fantastic - especially over the Easter period, with a pot of small chocolate eggs in each room and a suprise for guests at the breakfast table! The... more

Stayed here with friends while visiting Salisbury for a wedding. Situated around 10-15 minutes south of the town on the main route in, and as such is easy to find, with nice walks in the vicinity to stetch the legs and clear the head. Owner and staff very friendly, welcoming, and the cooked breakfast was superb. Rooms very comfortable and... more

I booked several rooms at the farmhouse for the weekend for a group of us attending a local wedding. When we arrived on Friday night the proprietor Lizzie told us that a couple of friends were at the local pub and offered to drive us there but when they appeared back she invited us to use the main reception room... more

We were made very welcome by our hosts, who were happy to wait up for us to arrive on the Friday night, provided us with good local knowledge on how best to get into Salisbury when it's busy and kept us well-fed on an excellent English breakfast. Further to this, when I discovered that a previous occupant had helped themself... more

This was the first B&B my sister and I stayed at during our 10 day trip to the UK and Ireland. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners David and Lizzie. We were taken to our room - a twin room. It was set apart from the house and was very lovely. It was nice and tidy,... more

Just would like to thank Lizzie, David and staff for a fantastic few days. Definitely worth going to if you are looking at getting away from the big city. Very easy to get to the surrounding towns and cities and major attractions in the area. Highly recommend you take Lizzie and David's advice about the pubs and restaurants in the... more

We had a fabulous time at Newton Farmhouse. David and Lizzie were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was spotlessly clean and very welcoming and had more than enough room for us and our two children. The gardens and swimming pool were very well maintained and as for the breakfast........yummy! Cannot recommend it enough. more

We originally stayed with Lizzie & David in May 2007 and quickly decided to return in August 07. We stayed both times in the Garden Rooms which are lovely these overlook the pool and garden. Rooms are well equiped with TV/DVD players and tea making facilities. Breakfast is really lovely and with a good choice. Lizzie, David and Staff are... more

We originally stayed at the farmhouse for one night in May 2007 when we came to collect a puppy from a breeder in Andover and we loved it so much that we decided to return in August for 5 nights. Lizzie and her family and their staff are very welcoming and do everything that they can to make your stay... more
