We originally stayed with Lizzie & David in May 2007 and quickly decided to return in August 07. We stayed both times in the Garden Rooms which are lovely these overlook the pool and garden. Rooms are well equiped with TV/DVD players and tea making facilities. Breakfast is really lovely and with a good choice. Lizzie, David and Staff are... more

We originally stayed at the farmhouse for one night in May 2007 when we came to collect a puppy from a breeder in Andover and we loved it so much that we decided to return in August for 5 nights. Lizzie and her family and their staff are very welcoming and do everything that they can to make your stay... more

I Stayed in the Newton Farmhouse for 3 days with my girlfriend, using it as a base to discover the New Forest, plus Bournemouth and Southampton. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time. The rooms are very nicely decorated, and the breakfast is superb (lots of fruits, cakes, croissants etc + big fry-up). The location is great for... more

just returned from my third visit to Newton Farmhouse. Lizzie and David are friendly and helpful. The farmhouse is beautiful as are the gardens (with trampoline and swimming pool!). We always stay in the Garden rooms which are spotless, spacious and very comfortable and we had breakfast outside under the apple tree! Our little boy loved the chickens and sheep... more

Warm welcome and family contact in a historic farmhouse. You can feel free to move in the garden. Nice, comfortable rooms, lovely furnished. Delicious breakfast with a large number of fresh fruits. Good traffic connection to Salisbury, Stonehenge, New Forest, Wilton. Owners give excellent recommendations about local inns and walks. Traffic is busy. We paid 140 per night for a... more

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms - with a fab pool in the back garden. The owners will even set up a bbq if you're staying on a Friday night. Best of all is the breakfast.. more fruit than you can shake a stick at, and great plate of eggs and bacon. more

Stayed 2 nights here in early August 07. There were 3 of us in 3 rooms all with 4 poster beds. The hosts were very friendly from initial internet booking through to contact. On arrival we got a laminated sheet with places to eat and drink and distances from farmhouse. Rooms are nice if a tad faded. Old and new... more
