Located in leafy Berkshire, this hotel is an old country inn which has become a preimer inn. From outside the building looks quite nice. Most of the rooms, however, are located in motel-style outbuildings around the main building, and the reception area needs a good refurb.

My room was in an outbuilding. It had an external keycard controlled door which led into a dark corridor (only 2 of the 5 lights were working in it!) - poor maintenance! The room was fairly poor. Top marks for the bed which was new and comfy, and the TV was pretty good (full range of freeview channels). There were damp patches on the wall beside the window. The bathroom was pretty dark and dated, and not very nice, even though it didn't have anything particularly wrong with it. The plumbing sounded like it had a didgeridoo attached every time a tap was turned on. The room next door was the same as I found out in the middle of the night!
