This is a truly awful place,not really a hotel,more like a civil servant training center so lots of self important jobbies about,staff seem clueless,room very small and basic,restaurant overpriced and not very good,location is in the middle of nowhere and not easy to find. more

We were lucky enough to grab a couple of nights at De Vere's £19.00 per night rate.Room was super - we were able to swap to get a room with bath plus shower - rather than just shower - nothing was too much trouble for super, friendly, helpful staff. We were very, very happy and would love to stay again.... more

Stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago, for 1 night as we were wanting to shop at Windsor. The staff were very welcoming and friendly with a smile on thier face. This hotel was booked as it stated 'minutes walk' from Ascot racecourse. It is infact a £8 taxi ride away, and not within reasonable walking distance. Rooms are very basic, reception average, seemingly the despite the booking form confirmation stating the balance is paid the hotel request payment upon checking out, which makes you think you may be charged twice.... more

On arrival I thought I was initially lost as signage and car park spaces relate to a government training centre. If your not fussy I see no reason why you'd be disappointed with this hotel. The room was a good size, perfectly acceptable for two nights. It was immaculately clean and furnished, the bed was very comfortable and the flat screen TV on the wall a bonus. Tea&Coffee making facilities in the room too. And all for £29 per night... more
