Wow - in a word. Although there are far too many other words which could equally describe this incredible house. Mark & Kim have done a fantastic job converting a boathouse, right on the river, into a colourful and warm home with Moroccan influences and several nautical touches. You almost think you are on a boat, as you look out from a big squishy sofa up to the Queen's bedroom (yes the Castle is literally that close!).
We loved watching the swans go by - there are so many views of the river throughout the 3 floors of accommodation.
Mark & Kim went to enormous trouble to ensure our house party and birthday celebration was perfect. They left little touches all over the house - champagne on ice, a well stocked larder and fridge and lots of games. The papers arrived on Sunday morning before we got up, and Mark even came in to cook us a full English breakfast with local eggs and meat.
