My wife & I love this hotel. Its in a great location and has a really relexed feel to the place. The rooms in the courtyard are very comfortable and staff are helpful and attentive. Windsor is only a short walk away and the bars and restaurants close by are excellent. You won't be disappointed. more

A group of us visiting Windsor on business stayed here. The hotel is very convenient for the area, and for a pleasant evening out in the local restaurants and a walk up to Windsor Castle. We stayed here really because of the location, but were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It is expensive (but maybe around average for the area... more

We found The Christopher to be a lovely hotel in a great location. Our courtyard room was clean, bright and comfortable with everything we needed. The staff at the hotel was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bar area is a comfortable place to relax with leather sofas and newspapers. Although we didn't eat... more

We had a very pleasant and restful stay at the Christopher. We stayed in room 48 which was very comfortable, with a power shower and the luxury of Molton Brown toiletries, coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent. We didnt eat at the hotel but their prices were comparable to the restaurants in the town namely EXPENSIVE. This hotel is not... more

Had a great stay at the Christopher, it is in a really good location in lovely Eton, a short walk to the pedestrian bridge to Windsor. The room was clean, had a very comfortable bed and good bathroom with powerful shower and Molton Brown toiletries. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a weekend break... more

4 of us stayed for the week - end.Stayed in rooms 49,50, these were dark but clean. Amazing walkin shower room. The bar is rather antiquanted but in keeping with the High St. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Can understand why people staying during the week complain about the noise from the building site.... more

Room 24 of this "boutique" hotel is very reminiscent of the seedy motels so often featured in american films of the 60's Small and depressing in the extreme with views of a car park and building site next to rubbish bins and rat traps! On the plus side the staff at reception were very pleasant and friendly and the dining... more

Boutique hotel - some peoples view of this wording must be very different to my understanding of the words. I did expect a nice room. No 43 overlooking the car park, with a large crane overhanging our room and scaffolding. Very dark and dingy room. And sunday night we were the only people in the hotel in the courtyard and... more

If you wish to over-night in the environs of central Windsor or Eton it must be impossible to fare worse than to stay at The Christopher. We booked this "boutique" hotel at short notice (because another establishment that we booked back in Oct 06 recently became a private residence and omitted to tell us). For this reason perhaps we weren't... more

We stayed at this hotel in March 2006. We had a nice stay although our shower didn't work. We were asked to make sure we reminded them of this if we came again. We stayed again in February. What a disaster! We arrived in the early hours and were woken at 5am by a vibrating radiator. This lasted for 45minutes.... more
