I booked a night here as my usual hotels were booked up. I arrived early evening and the door of this Guest House (it is not a Hotel!) was opened by a man who I assumed was the owner and he greeted me in French, insisted on greeting me in French when I said hello and thought he was generally... more

We booked here to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. We wanted something unique and memorable and we got it. The house is a lovely old Victorian mansion filled with unusual and interesting objects, pictures and bric-a-brac. It is superbly located at the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooks the Thames. There is ample car parking. Our room, the Turret Room... more

What a wonderful place. We arrived for my partners birthday on the Friday world weary and exhausted. By the time we'd seen the beautiful home, been shown to our room (the forget-me-not) and had an amazing free standing bath, followed by a powerful and refreshing shower we'd forgotten all about our ills - and it stayed that way for the... more

We've just returned from a wonderful stay at Red Roofs - it exceeded our expectations - our room (the big suite with the bath in the room) was amazing with fantastic views across the river, I think it rates as one of the best hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. Sandy and Colin were excellent hosts, not too obtrusive, but... more

having just returned from Red Roofs we are still enthusing about the whole experience. Sandy and Colin, the owners, do everything to make you feel welcome. The house is stunningly original. Our room was decorated in a very stylish and quirky fashion and was filled with the most interesting objects and antiques. the b&b is close to the Fat Duck... more

We spent 3 enjoyable nights here.Think the point is it's not a hotel -it's Sandy and Colin's home - and as an extraordinary B&B it's great. Would not suit those who expect hotel perfection. Inside it is decorated, fitted out and ornamented in an exuberant and unique way that we found great fun,but others might not want a feather boa draped... more

My wife and I went to the Fat Duck restaurant in Bray as a birthday treat, and heard about Red Roofs through the restaurant's website. We were attracted by the riverside location and the character of the building, and being just a stones throw from Bray itself we booked to stay for one night. The entrance to the building is... more

We went for a romantic break by the river, expecting a very pleasant stay for the price (we were quoted 125 per night over the phone). The house itself is impressive from the outside, although its location leaves a lot to be desired - situated next to a near impossible to cross A road frequented by london commuters. The interior... more

We stayed here for one night prior to lunch at The Fat Duck. This is a beautiful property in a great (riverside) location. Each room is individually decorated with flair and imagination. We will happily return and can wholeheartedly recommend this great B&B. more

Have now stayed at Red Roofs twice and would thoroughly recommend it. The hosts Sandy & Colin are key to the success of the B&B. Red Roofs is a great location if you want somewhere close to Fat Duck, Waterside Inn etc. The house is situated overlooking the Thames and the interior is really quirky. It was once used as... more
