My wife and I stayed here after a day at Windsor races. This Pub is a 15th century inn which typically has low ceilings, sloping floor boards and fire places every where! Our room was clean, simply furnished and a bargain for the area at £59 for the room.

The proprieter and bar staff member were very friendly and chatty. Breakfast was continental style although we skipped this after a heavy day and night!

We stayed in Room No 1 which had on suite facilities but some rooms on the other floors had a shared bedroom.

The hotel is brilliantly placed in Eton High street and a stones throw from the Thames and Windsor high street and Castle. There is free parking at the rear of the hotel.

I would thoroughly recommend the hotel which is a bargain compared to other hotels in the immediate area. more
