The hotel is dirty, and rundown (old England is one thing but this was a pit). The service was slow if it happend at all, and the staff seemed to be bored. The hot water (like the staff) did not work. The only thing that was forthcomming were excuses. more

The Hotel rooms are split over five different buildings, which we were surprised about. Our room was away from the main building & situated over a newsagents. The place is ideally located nearby the river, about 200 yds from Eton. The hotel has various types of rooms, some of them being located outside of the main building. Therefore, it's quite difficult to put a general comment about the hotel comfort, as every room has its own style and size. more
