Having done a comprehensive search for somewhere to stay in Windsor within walking distance of the town centre and reasonably priced, we thought we'd struck gold. How wrong! We requested their double room with private bathroom for a Thursday and Friday night. We stayed there for 2 nights and although our room was clean, warm and comfortable, that's the best we can say about it. The hosts weren't friendly, the breakfast was very stingy - we didn't even want to stay for breakfast the second day and were glad to leave. Location is very noisy, room was small, and not very clean. Poor service at breakfast. More like a hostel than a bed and breakfast. Keep looking if want a good nights sleep. Would not a good value if they let you stay for free. more
